As much as we may strive for perfection on the ice, falls and mistakes are inevitable. And yet, these imperfections do not make us any less of a skater.
The not so graceful ice princess represents the resilience and perseverance that every skater possesses. She may stumble and fall, but she gets back up with determination and continues to push herself to improve. She shows that it’s okay to make mistakes and that they should not define us or hold us back from reaching our goals.
Moreover, having a character like the not so graceful ice princess also promotes inclusivity in figure skating. Skaters come in all shapes, sizes, and abilities – each one unique in their own way.
